Life Review in Spiritual Direction

Life Review in Spiritual Direction

Reflect on memory, story, and God’s presence across the journey of life.

Join us for a half-day continuing education workshop led by Paul Bramer exploring the practice of life review in spiritual direction. Together, we will consider how memory, story, and personal reflection can become meaningful pathways for discernment, healing, and spiritual formation.

This workshop will introduce life review as a resource for spiritual direction, spiritual autobiography, and prayerful reflection. Participants will engage practical approaches for organizing and facilitating life review in spiritual direction contexts, while attending to the ways God may be present and active throughout the whole of a person’s story.

Through teaching, reflection, and discussion, this gathering will invite participants to notice God’s presence, invitation, and grace across the journey of their lives and in the lives of those they accompany.
