Building a Sustainable Spiritual Direction Practice

Building a Sustainable Spiritual Direction Practice

Develop your ministry with prayerful discernment, integrity, and practical wisdom.

Join us for a half-day continuing education workshop led by Bruce Tallman exploring how to set up and manage a spiritual direction practice. Together, we will consider how spiritual directors can develop their ministry in ways that are sustainable, ethical, and rooted in faithful discernment.

This workshop will offer practical and reflective guidance for spiritual directors and formation leaders as they discern vision and mission, establish ethical and financial frameworks, and cultivate networks of support. Participants will reflect on how word-of-mouth, workshops, partnerships, and community relationships can help a spiritual direction practice grow with integrity.

Attention will also be given to contemporary tools for ministry development, including website creation, social media, and online payment systems. Throughout the workshop, these practical considerations will be held within a framework of prayer, discernment, and faithful practice.
