Isaiah 55:1-7 Jesus loves you with an unfailing love.
Guide
Presence: Take two deep cleansing breaths, remembering that God is the giver of life. “Here I am God. Thank you for your presence.”
Read Isaiah 55:1-7 two times: once quietly and once out loud.
This passage of scripture is an invitation for ALL to come and live—to really live. Out of the masses, there are those who understand and embrace their spiritual thirst. It is for those, that God comes. Often we thirst after the wrong things or people. Satisfaction here is only temporary, eventually failing our thirst. God offers true, reliable, deep satisfaction for the soul.
In the same way, God hovers over the chaos of our lives. He is not absent. Even now, he hovers over you, desiring to bring light where there is darkness, order where there is confusion, new life where there is suffering.
Take time to pray about that person or situation in your life that needs God’s intervention. Offer this up to God, confident that he hears your prayer and will answer because God loves you and desires light, order, and new life for you.
Journal your prayer and experience of this time.
